Allen & Overy has appointed finance specialist Prakash Raja Segaran as a partner in Singapore from local law firm Shook Lin & Bok.

Raja Segaran’s practice area includes banking and finance, debt capital markets, and energy and natural resources. He acts for banks and borrowers on a variety of banking transactions ranging from acquisition finance, property finance and Islamic finance and ship financing through to restructurings.

He also regularly acts as Singapore law counsel on cross-border transactions within the ASEAN region as well as in China and India. 

Raja Segaran joined Shook Lin & Bok in 2005.

HKIAC appoints A&O partner as new secretary-general
