Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom has hired Geoffrey Chan from Ropes & Gray as a partner to lead its Asia-Pacific investment management practice in Hong Kong.

Chan regularly represents sponsors and investors from a variety of fund types, ranging from private equity and venture capital to co-investment and real estate funds. He mostly advises on issues like fundraising and holding company structuring as well as internal funds and investment activities.
