Indian law firm IndusLaw has added Petrushka Dasgupta as a partner in its litigation and dispute resolution team in Mumbai from Haresh Jagtiani & Associates.

Dasgupta’s hire comes at a time when IndusLaw has been boosting its litigation offering. It earlier established a separate office in Mumbai for its litigation practice. Prior to that, the firm also added an eight-lawyer litigation team from HSA Advocates, including partners Amit Jajoo and Sushmita Gandhi.

Dasgupta’s focus is on corporate litigation, insolvency and bankruptcy, dispute resolution, real estate and aviation. Most recently, she advised her clients on debt restructuring, insolvency and company law before the Bombay High Court, the National Company Law Tribunal and the Debts Recovery Tribunal, among others.

Prior to her stint at Haresh Jagtiani & Associates, Dasgupta had an in-house role with Vectra Group.

With this hire, IndusLaw now has 43 partners and over 150 associates across its four offices.
