Latham & Watkins has added M&A and investments specialist Mark Cooper as a partner in Singapore from Hogan Lovells.

Cooper, who joined Hogan Lovells as a partner in late 2014, advises on corporate and private equity transactions, with a particular focus on the infrastructure, power, and resources sectors across Southeast Asia.

During his time at Hogan Lovells, Cooper advised investment consortium Philippines Renewable Energy Holdings Corp on its tender offer to acquire up to 31.7 percent of Energy Development Corp. (EDC) for $1.28 billion

Previously, Cooper spent nearly a decade at Linklaters.

With the hire of Cooper, Latham & Watkins currently has nine partners in its Singapore office.
