Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) has lost its five-lawyer aviation team in Hong Kong, led by partners William Ho and Jackson Chow, to Watson Farley & Williams.

Ho advises on aircraft transactions and structures and has played an important role in Hong Kong’s tax reform for the aviation industry, while Chow is an expert in structured asset finance and leasing with a focus on the aviation sector.

Ho and Chow are joined by senior associate Carmen Chien, associate Alfred Yu and legal manager Vivienne Zhao.

The team advises on restructuring, financing, securitisations, JOLCOs, French tax leases, European ECA and US Ex-Im-backed aircraft financing, Chinese domestic leases, aircraft secured bond transactions and portfolio sales, among others.
