Edmund Kronenburg, FCIArb, FSIArb, Managing Partner, Braddell Brothers LLP

Edmund and his team from Braddell Brothers acted for PT First Media over 2010 - 2018 in successfully resisting the enforcement (in Singapore, then Hong Kong) of a US$250 million SIAC arbitration award obtained against FM and two other companies by Malaysia’s Astro group. 

Earlier, in 2008, Edmund and his team successfully acted for PT Lirik Petroleum in its ICC arbitration against PT Pertamina (Persero) and PT Pertamina EP, which has since become a landmark case concerning the enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in Indonesia. 

Who’s Who Legal : Litigation (2018) says that Edmund is “one of Singapore’s highest-regarded litigators and arbitration counsel”.  The Legal 500 (Asia-Pacific) has described him as “aggressive”, “articulate”, “good strategist”, “trusted confidant”, “good advocate” and “best in class”.  Chambers & Partners cites a source as saying that “[Edmund] has the ability to think beyond the conventional and has brilliant ideas in terms of legal strategy”.

Ivan obtained his Master of Laws degree at the University of Melbourne, upon completion of his Law Degree from the University of Indonesia. He is fluent in both Indonesian and English. Ivan’s professional experience extends across a number of major firms in Jakarta, a government agency (the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency/IBRA) and a foreign consulting company. He has particular expertise in advising on mergers & acquisition; banking & finance; debt restructuring; foreign investment; corporate & commercial law; labor, employment & immigration; energy & mining; bankruptcy and corporate secretarial work. Ivan is a licensed capital markets lawyer, along with being a receiver & administrator for bankruptcy. Ivan is an active member of several professional organisations, including the Indonesian Advocates Association (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia).
Tjahyono Firmansyah, S.H., LL.M, Partner, Ivan Almaida Baely & Firmansyah
Tjahyono obtained his Master of Laws degree at the Washington College of Law, American University, USA.  He graduated and obtained his Law Degree from the University of Indonesia (Business Law). He is fluent in both Indonesian and English. Tjahyono’s professional experience includes private practice in a major law firm in Jakarta, complimented by vast experiences he gained as in-house counsel in a number of large companies (from legal counsel in Sumitomo Niaga Bank, an Indonesian joint venture bank to senior general legal counsel in Sampoerna Strategic Group and general legal counsel in Samko Timber Ltd, a Singapore public listed company) within Indonesia and the broader region. Tjahyono brings more than 24 years legal experience in Indonesia and Singapore. He has particular expertise in mergers & acquisitions; banking & finance; debt restructuring; energy & mining; foreign investment; corporate & commercial; land use and real estate; civil litigation; employment & immigration and corporate secretarial work. Tjahyono holds license to practice Indonesian law and member of several professional organisations, including the Indonesian Advocates Association (Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia) and Capital Market Legal Consultant Association (Himpunan Konsultan Pasar Modal).

With more than a decade of experience in dispute resolution and corporate investigations, Teguh has extensive experience working with clients from across financial services, energy and natural resources, and infrastructure. Based in Indonesia, he understands the needs and problems of clients working in this landscape and offers effective solutions.
 
He advises on a range of commercial litigation, arbitration, criminal, business competition and contentious regulatory matters. He also has comprehensive experience in corporate investigations field having advises multinationals on both internal and regulatory driven investigations.
 
Teguh studied in Yogyakarta, Indonesia and later on in Sydney, Australia where he graduated as Master of Criminal Justice and Criminology.
Dyah Paramita, Dewi Negara Fachri & Partners, Jakarta
Dyah has extensive experience in handling antitrust and competition law issues before the Indonesia’s Competition Authority (KPPU), varying from advisory, cartel investigation, merger control filing, business model consultation, up to antitrust and competition litigation.
 
She is recently recognised as Associates to Watch by Chambers Asia Pacific 2018: Indonesia, Antirust/Competition.
 
She is a fully qualified Indonesian advocate and Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb) having a Master of Laws degree on Comparative and International Dispute Resolution from the Queen Mary University of London. She is experienced in handling a wide array of disputes, varying from commercial disputes before the courts, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution. She is also well versed in handling investigations, white-collar crimes as well as private wealth disputes.

Widy Aditya, Head of Legal, PT Enseval Medika Prima
Widy Aditya is the Head of Legal of PT Enseval Medika Prima, one of PT Kalbe Farma, Tbk's strategic business unit engaging in medical device industry. He also serves as the leading counsel of Kalbe Farma's medical device and healthcare business group. He is an experienced In-House Counsel within various industries of prominent companies (MNC Media and ASTRA Group) in Indonesia.

As in-house counsel, Widy has been experiencing and involved in cross-function projects as well as cross-border projects, corporate actions and also rendering litigation support for the company. Widy earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Practitioner from the Faculty of Law Trisakti University and Master’s Degree in Business Law from the Faculty of Law Gadjah Mada University. Widy is also the member of Indonesian Competition Lawyers Association (ICLA).

Mrs. Isti Dyah Kusumawati joined Shimizu Group since December 2014 in the Human Resources Planning (“HRP”). She was appointed to set up Legal Group in Shimizu Group Jakarta on May 2015, and became the first Corporate Secretary & Legal Group Head for Both Companies (May 2015 – April 2016), then Corporate Secretary & Senior Legal Group Head on May 2016 till now.
 
As Corporate Secretary, she carries out the mission to support the duties of the Board of Directors and Management, specifically to establish and maintain a good relation with internal and external parties, such as regulators, government bodies, shareholders and other stakeholders, which in line with the principle of the Analects and the Abacus in Shimizu Corporation Group and the Company slogan of “Today’s work, Tomorrow’s Heritage”. Other responsibilities that she carries out daily are in the area of corporate licensing and compliance.
 
She was born in Jakarta and received her bachelor’s degree in law, from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia, Depok in 1999 and continued her master degree in European Studies, from the same University in 2005-2006. She has a broad knowledge, skills and experiences for more than 20 years as associate lawyer, in-house legal, as well as corporate secretary in several different types of business. She’s a registered mediator in PMN (The Indonesian Mediation Center) and has obtained her advocate license 16 years ago.

Gharnis Athe M Ginting is the Senior Legal Counsel of Lazada eLogistics Indonesia. 3 Years with Lazada eLogistics Indonesia with current practices handled and responsible variant legal works for Lazada Logistics activities. Has worked extensively as practitioners lawyers and in-house counsel for international investment, business license, company restructuring, and negotiations for well-known company with variant business core such as mining, retail, logistics and e-commerce.

Puspita Hendra Sari (Nita) is a Senior Legal Manager in GlaxoSmithKline, a multinational research-based pharmaceutical group company. She supports business by providing advices on business development, distribution, employment, corporate secretarial, intellectual property, multi-channel marketing, litigation and regulation advocacies.
 
Prior to her journey as in-house counsel, she had various experiences as practicing lawyer in both Jakarta and Singapore, namely Ali Budiardjo Nugroho Reksodiputro, Lubis Ganie Surowidjo and Colin Ng & Partners. Her experience makes her believe that technologies should be an ally to legal professionals. Nita earned her bachelor degree from University of Indonesia and master degree from National University of Singapore.
