Immigration law specialist Vivien Yu will be joining Morgan Lewis & Bockius as a partner later this summer from Baker McKenzie, where she is currently a registered foreign lawyer.

Yu will be joining one of Morgan Lewis’ Asia-Pacific offices, but the exact location has not yet been confirmed. At the firm, she will look to grow Morgan Lewis’ global immigration offerings.

Currently based in Hong Kong, Yu focuses on immigration laws in Hong Kong and overseas. As a registered Australian migration agent, she also advises clients on related immigration and mobility issues involving Greater China and the Asia-Pacific region, and also represents startups and investors on special immigration categories.

Yu, who has been working with Baker McKenzie for over a decade, was earlier a consultant at Fragomen.
