Indian law firm Saraf and Partners has hired litigation and arbitration specialist Sairam Subramanian as a partner in Mumbai from Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co.

Subramanian is experienced in general and commercial disputes, infrastructure and property-related disputes. He joined SAM in 2019 from Khaitan & Co, prior to which he worked at DSK Legal.

Subramanian becomes the latest disputes partner hire for Saraf this year, following the additions of Alok Shankar from HSA Advocates and Shashank Manish from P&A Law Offices, both in Delhi. The firm also brought on board competition and data privacy partner Akshayy S Nanda in Delhi from Trilegal.

Saraf and Partners was set up last year by Mohit Saraf, an erstwhile equity partner of L&L Partners. The firm currently has around 180 fee-earners.
