K&L Gates Straits Law, the Singapore office of K&L Gates, has hired disputes professional Joan Lim-Casanova as a partner in Singapore from Cavenagh Law, the Singapore formal law alliance firm of Clifford Chance.

Experienced in commercial contentious matters and international dispute resolution, Lim-Casanova advises Chinese private and state-owned entities, and Singaporean and multinational companies in sectors including infrastructure, power generation, renewable energy and insurance.

Having started her career at Drew & Napier in 2007, Lim-Casanova joined Cavenagh Law in 2012, and become a partner about three years ago.

This addition has taken the number of K&L Gates Straits Law partners to 12.
