Sidley Austin has hired private equity lawyer Daniel Lindsey as a partner in Singapore from the Hong Kong office of Goodwin Procter.

Lindsey joined Goodwin Procter in 2018 from Kirkland & Ellis, where he was a partner. Prior to that, he spent more than a decade at Linklaters.

With experience acting for private equity sponsors and private credit providers on debt finance transactions, Lindsey has a focus on cross-border leveraged and acquisition financings and fund level financings.

Following the addition of Lindsey, Sidley’s Singapore office now has 11 partners. In April, the office lost investigations and compliance partner Yuet Ming Tham to McDermott Will & Emery.
