How did COVID-19 impact your practice? How did you look to adapt to these changes?

Surprisingly, working from home for almost a year now allows us to be more productive, in the sense that we now able to complete meetings with clients more in a day compared to prior COVID-19 period. Before COVID-19, due to heavy traffic in Jakarta, we could manage to attend only maximum 3 meet-ings a day and now we able to complete up to 6 meetings a day through online. We continuously upgrade and invest in cutting-edge safe technology system to allow our lawyers and clients to discuss and share documents impeccably without interruption.

Clients today have higher requirements when it comes to the services they receive from their lawyers. Can you provide an example or two of how you went the extra mile for your clients?

We develop and invest in long-term relationships as we fully recognize that our clients’ success critically corresponds to our future growth. When providing the services, not only that we advise our clients of the rules, but we always take it further by applying our exceptional knowledge and expertise to offer strategic, comprehensive legal solutions in each relevant area of practice that advance our clients’ business goals. In an independent legal directory, one of our clients was quoted “ Extremely responsive and always offer highly competent advice and commercial, exactly what you would expect from a highly regarded practice and more. The quality of legal service and support is better than what you can probably get from larger Indonesian firms with a longer track record”.
