Offshore law firm Forbes Hare, which provides BVI and Cayman Islands legal services, has opened a new office in Hong Kong.

This is Forbes Hare’s second office in Asia, following the opening of the Singapore outpost in July 2015. Founded in 2005, the firm also has offices in the UK and New Zealand, apart from the BVI and Cayman Islands.

Managing partner William Hare will relocate to Hong Kong along with partner Richard Baird, who will head the new office, and senior associate Fleur O’Driscoll.

With the new office, Forbes Hare joins a crowded offshore field in Hong Kong, which is also home to Maples Group, Walkers, Conyers, Harneys, Appleby, Ogier and Carey Olsen, among others.
