Bangkok-headquartered Tilleke & Gibbins, Thailand’s largest law firm, has become the latest member of Drew Network Asia (DNA), Singapore firm Drew & Napier’s regional law network. DNA now has a presence in nine countries and includes about 824 fee-earners.

DNA is a cross-border “firm of firms” that brings together a network of “blue-chip law firms” in Southeast Asia as a united collective, to provide international perspectives and local expertise to clients, Drew & Napier said in a statement.

DNA was launched by Drew & Napier in 2020, with Malaysia’s Shearn Delamore & Co. and Indonesia’s Makarim & Taira S as members. Philippines law firm Martinez Vergara & Gonzalez Sociedad joined the network in 2021.

With the addition of Tilleke’s offices in Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam, DNA now has presence across most of the Southeast Asian region.

“With DNA covering almost the whole of SEA, we now have the capability to provide clients with seamless and integrated legal services of the highest quality throughout the region,” said Cavinder Bull, CEO of Drew & Napier.

For Tilleke, the addition to DNA helps their clients access legal markets across Southeast Asia. “Being part of this network provides a platform for our clients to access the top lawyers in the region who will facilitate their legal needs and strategic ambitions in SEA,” said Tiziana Sucharitkul, managing partner of Tilleke & Gibbins.

Fellow Singapore Big Four firms Rajah & Tann and WongPartnership have also set up regional networks.
