Our client is a global UK law firm with a strong network of offices across Asia.  It has a highly regarded corporate practice, with an impressive list of blue chip clients including many of the major investment banks and MNC’s. In Hong Kong it is known as having a leading Dispute Resolution, Finance and M&A practice and in Shanghai and Beijing it is known for its diversified corporate practices. 

Due to considerable work arising from both its network of offices, and its client base in Shanghai, our client has identified a need for a senior corporate partner.  The successful candidate is likely to be a well established partner with another international firm, or a leading Chinese law firm. 

You will have experience managing and building a team, and you will be fluent in Mandarin.  You will be able to bring a small book of business, although a large portable book is not required given that our client already has considerable work available.  On offer is an opportunity to join a firm that is known as having a very collegiate and effective management team, and is committed to developing its corporate practice in China.
