Elite international firm requires Mandarin speaking corporate associate for award winning practice in Hong Kong or Shanghai. Due to deal flow and expansion the firm would like to add a number of associates at the junior and mid-level to the practice group.
This opportunity will ideally suit candidates that are looking to relocate from the New York or the London legal markets or a returning Chinese national with international firm training. Candidates from the leading mainland PRC firms are also very welcome to apply.
Key requirements
- Native fluency in Mandarin both written and spoken essential. Candidates with Cantonese looked upon favourably but not essential.
- Top international law firm training preferably at a Wall Street, Magic Circle, Top PRC or peer firm training and experience.
- Strong academics
- Ideally 2-5 PQE but star candidates outside this range welcome to apply
- US, EW, PRC or equivalent common law bar required
