Leading offshore firms with network of international offices requires a motivated and fluent Mandarin speaking associate for their expanding Shanghai office.

This opportunity will suit a returning PRC national or a lawyer currently based outside of China with fluency in Mandarin. 

Great opportunity for a self-starter who wants more responsibility and the opportunity to advance quickly in a growing team.

Ideal Candidate

• You will have a minimum of 3 – 4 years PQE of which 2 should be with an international law firm outside of mainland China
• Fluent Mandarin (to near native fluency) with ability to draft in documentation in Chinese
• Fluency in English
• Excellent academics
• Approximately 2 years of working outside of PRC at a leading law firm
• Practice and experiencing in some of the following areas – corporate MA, funds formation, private equity
• Candidates with strong CVs in finance will also be considered if interest in transitioning to the corporate department
• Candidates from the US, UK, HK, ANZ or across Asia are welcome to apply if open to relocation
