My client, a major construction and project management multinational corporation is looking for a mid to senior level property construction lawyer to join their legal team in Malaysia office in Kuala Lumpur. This lawyer will work with the legal and business functions (project management and construction) in development projects, transactions and operations in Malaysia.

Skills and Expertise
• Malaysia qualified lawyer with at least 8 years post qualified experience in building construction related work from in-house or law firm
• Prior In-house experience with an engineering and/or construction company will be an advantage
• Familiar with the international and local templates used in engineering construction sector FIDIC, SIA, REDAS, JKR would be an advantage
• Excellent communications skills and able to communicate and work with individuals of different background and cultures
• Ability to read and write Mandarin and Malay would be an advantage
• Skills to manage multiple work activities and provide support and counsel to the project management and construction divisions
