A top tier financial institution, our client is now strengthening its markets team with key appointments for its legal department. Part of an outstanding and dynamic team which provides advice on a range of legal, regulatory and contentious matters, the role also oversees FX, rates, derivatives, securitization and structured loans and products. Applicants will need a strong interest in derivatives and should ideally have prior working knowledge of the financial regulatory regime in Singapore or Hong Kong. The ability to communicate effectively in order to build sustainable relationships is crucial to succeeding in this role.

Successful candidates will possess:

• Singapore Bar qualifications and at least 8PQE in regional financial markets or derivatives, gained with the banking, corporate or capital markets team of a leading law firm or in-house with a financial institution.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills in order to effectively manage key stakeholders and build internal relationships.
• Strong ability to work autonomously and within multi-functional teams.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
