Robert Tsang, Partner - Value Added Tax, Deloitte LLP

Robert heads Deloitte’s Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia Indirect Tax Teams. He previously ran the Andersen and then the Deloitte US International VAT Teams, and has spent the last 5 years in Asia Pacific in his current role. He has had experience of serving local, regional and global clients in relation to the Indirect Tax aspects of businesses around the world, and draws specifically on work he has done in Asia (particularly in Southeast Asia and India), in Greater China (including Hong Kong), in the US/Canada and in the European Union (from a base in the United Kingdom).


He is a UK barrister (Gray’s Inn), UK Chartered Accountant, UK Chartered Tax Adviser, Singapore Institute of Chartered Accountants Member and Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professional Accredited Tax Advisor. Robert currently sits as a member of the Singapore GST Board of Review.

 

 Jean Hong Khor

Jean Hong Khor, Senior Manager, Deloitte Consulting SEA

Jean Hong is a Senior Manager of Deloitte Consulting South East Asia practice, specializing in Enterprise Applications specifically in ERP-SAP.

Jean Hong graduated in Bachelor of Business, Major in Accounting from Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia. He is a registered Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute Of Accountant (MIA).

He has deep Project Management experience in ERP implementation and Support.

 

He has over 20 years of industry and consulting experiences and more than  12 years of project management experience managing successful projects across Asia countries and  various industries including Manufacturing, Automotive, Real Estate, Telco, Construction, Aviation, Banking and Consumer Products etc. 

 

JaeSon Kim, VP, Tax & Accounting GGO ANA

Mr. Kim JaeSon is Vice President, Asia for the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters. He is responsible for leading the business in providing technology and integrated information solutions to tax and finance professionals in accounting and law firms, corporations and governments. Prior to his appointment in Asia, JaeSon successfully led the professional services team for the Tax & Accounting’s ONESOURCE Indirect Tax business for six years, managing global consulting operations with teams in US, UK and India. He started his career as a software engineer at Oracle and went on to successfully build out professional services organisations at three enterprise software start-up companies in Silicon Valley prior to joining Thomson Reuters.  

JaeSon graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University with B.A. in Applied Mathematics / Economics and received M.S. from Stanford University in Computer Science.

Charlotte Rushton, Senior Vice President & Managing Director - Asia Pacific and EMEA, Thomson Reuters

Charlotte Rushton is Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific and EMEA, for the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters.

Ms. Rushton leads the Tax & Accounting business operations that serve corporations and accounting firms across the Asia Pacific and EMEA regions, including Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).

In 2010, Ms. Rushton opened the Tax & Accounting business's regional office in Singapore, where she led the team that launched ONESOURCE corporate tax solutions in China, Korea and Taiwan and ONESOURCE global solutions, including indirect tax, in ANZ and across Asia. She moved to London in August to take on her expanded role leading operations for both EMEA and Asia Pacific.

Ms. Rushton, a member of the Tax & Accounting operating committee and executive leadership team, previously served as Senior Vice President, Global Consulting, for the business. In that role, she was integral to the development of global strategy and expansion plans and led strategy and organizational development across multiple business units, including Research and Guidance, Global Tax Technology and Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC).

Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, she was a partner and leader of the business strategy capability for Computer Sciences Corporation based in New York. Ms. Rushton was responsible for business development and project leadership for business and IT strategy and planning for Fortune 500 and start-up clients.

She holds a Master’s degree in engineering from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom.

 

Louis Tjendra

Louis Tjendra, Senior Client Services Analyst, Thomson Reuters Tax & Accounting

Louis is a Senior Client Services Analyst for Thomson Reuters Tax Accounting, based in Singapore. He has assisted in the product development and implementation of Thomson Reuters enterprise solutions for Big 4 firms and multi-national companies in Singapore, Korea, China, Hong Kong and Malaysia. Louis also provides support for global customers using Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE solutions.

Louis holds a bachelor's degree In Computing from the National University of Singapore. Louis speaks English, Chinese and Bahasa Indonesia and is working towards his Association of Chartered Certified Accountants qualification
