Berwin Leighton Paisner has established a new family asset protection practice, which will be led by private client and family law partner Marcus Dearle in Hong Kong. 

Based in both in Hong Kong and London, the practice provides cross-border and corporate family law expertise to high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients, It also advise on all areas of relationship breakdown, with a focus on international pre and post-nuptial agreements, divorce and trust matters, as well as offer family relationship protection strategies.  

Dearle, who joined BLP last year after more than 25 years at Withers in London, previously represented solicitor Florence Tsang in her divorce from property tycoon Samathur Li Kin-kan, resulting in the highest-ever litigated divorce award in Hong Kong history.
