Switzerland-headquartered law firm Bonnard Lawson has officially opened its Dubai branch after receiving its licence from the Dubai Government Legal Affairs Department.

The new office, located in the Al Habtoor Business Tower at Dubai Marina, is headed by Giovanni Rossi. Rossi advises Swiss and international banks, as well as investment funds, private equity, family offices and independent wealth managers.

The office will act as the firm’s hub for the whole MENA region and the surrounding areas. The firm’s Dubai lawyers are also registered practitioners with the Dubai International Financial Centre Courts.

“Competence, confidentiality and professional ethics are our core values," Rossi said in a statement. “We are extremely delighted to see Bonnard Lawson branching out to the UAE. The country has emerged as a global gateway with a world-class business environment. Dubai has become one of the most influential and dynamic places to do business in the Middle East.”

Bonnard Lawson also has offices in Lausanne, Paris, Luxembourg, Shanghai and Geneva where it has its headquarters.
