Nishimura & Asahi (N&A), one of Japan’s largest law firms, is expanding into Indonesia by establishing an associate office with Rosetini & Partners (R&P), a domestic firm that has advised Japanese companies in Indonesia.

A team of five lawyers from N&A with varying specialisations including M&A, compliance, anti-corruption, dispute resolution, and corporate legal issues will form the firm’s Indonesia practice team.

R&P specialises in general and corporate M&A, restructuring, financial transactions, and labour issues.

Japan’s largest law firm, Nishimura & Asahi, has hired corporate specialist Jason Jose R. Jiao as a partner in Tokyo from Oh-Ebashi LPC & Partners. Jiao is the first Philippines-qualified partner in Nishimura’s Tokyo office.
