Nominations are now open for the ALB Malaysia Law Awards 2016, which will be held in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, April 7.

The event’s 33 award categories recognise and celebrate the achievements of Malaysia’s leading law firms and in-house legal teams, as well as the top deals and dealmakers of 2015.

Following on from the success of the ALB Malaysia Law Awards 2015, the event this year will feature a number of new awards categories (please download the Research Methodology Summary below for more information), including:

·         Boutique Law Firm of the Year

·         Rising Law Firm of the Year

·         Aviation Law Firm of the Year

·         Young Lawyer of the Year

·         Debt Market Deal of the Year (Midsize)

·         Debt Market Deal of the Year (Premium)

·         Islamic Finance Deal of the Year (Midsize)

·         Islamic Finance Deal of the Year (Premium)

·         M&A Deal of the Year (Midsize)

·         M&A Deal of the Year (Premium)

The nominations will once again be judged by our selected group of impartial experts, including key in-house individuals and selected industry specialists, and will be judged on work completed over the course of 2015.

All nominations must be written in the ALB nomination form, and must be submitted by Thursday, February 18.
