Jones Day has hired Maxwell (Mac) Fox  as a partner in the firm's intellectual property practice in Tokyo from Ropes & Gray.

Fox represents clients in the electronics, computer sciences and life sciences industries in patent disputes against competitors and patent assertion entities. He also assists clients with strategy licensing programs and the negotiation of license agreements.

Prior to Ropes & Gray, Fox worked with Paul Hastings in Tokyo.
