Indian law firm Clasis Law has added to its Mumbai team with the hiring of shipping expert Harsh Pratap as a partner from local firm PSP Law Office.

Pratap, who spent 11 years at PSP, advises Indian and international clients on shipping matters, including commercial litigation and arbitration. His clients include P&I Clubs, ship owners, charterers, cargo claimants and bunker suppliers.

"We are delighted to welcome Harsh to the firm and his arrival underscores our commitment to providing a wide range of services to our clients,” said Vineet Aneja, partner at Clasis Law, in a statement. “The Indian transport industry is in a state of flux which presents interesting challenges for our clients in the shipping sector."

Pratap's addition to the Clasis Law team follows the arrivals of litigation and dispute resolution partners Sumeet Lall in Delhi, and Sagar Divekar in Mumbai late last year. ALB
