Boutique Indian IP law firms Lall & Sethi and Singh & Singh are merging, according to the website Bar & Bench (B&B). The new firm, named “Singh & Singh Lall & Sethi” will have nine partners and 27 lawyers. The merger will be effective Apr.1.
According to B&B, Singh & Singh was set up by the husband-wife duo of Maninder and Pratibha Singh in 1997. Lall & Sethi, headquartered in New Delhi, has branch offices in Sri Lanka and Nepal.
Indonesian law firm ADCO Law has hired intellectual property expert Adolf M. Panggabean as the head of its newly launched IP practice in Jakarta. Panggabean’s most recent role was as legal counsel at PT Fortuna Investasi Utama, which he held until May last year.
