Exciting opening from a leading media and entertainment global player to join their in house legal team in Singapore for work across APAC.

Work type

• Providing legal support and advice to the group’s Media Business Unit. 
• Drafting, negotiating and advising on a broad range of commercial and corporate contracts relating to the exploitation of commercial rights to sporting events including media rights, sponsorship and production agreements.
• You will also work across a number of business areas providing legal advice to operations and provide legal support for general corporate and company secretarial matters.
• Liaise with external counsel and regional offices on a variety of legal matters.
• Reporting line to General Counsel Asia.

Key Candidate Requirements

• 3+ PQE in a Commonwealth jurisdiction with international law firm experience preferred
• Candidates with in house legal experience looked upon favourably
• Lawyers with solid experience in media rights – especially sports related matters looked upon favourably
• Excellent drafting skills
• Keen interest in sport coupled with solid business acumen
• Team player
• Ability to work closely with senior management
