Wall Street firm with unparalleled track record advising on numerous complex, innovative and significant project development and finance transactions in Japan seeks project/finance associate.

Collegiate office with opportunity to work on cutting edge deals.

The team comprises lawyers who can provide advice in both English and Japanese.

 

Key Requirements

  • Mid to senior level UK qualified associate, ideally 5th year PQE from a top UK firm
  • Gaiben licensing requirements satisfied
  • Ability to draft documentation and lead transactions with minimal supervision
  • Strong PF experience with exposure to security documentation
  • Japanese speaker essential as meetings are held in Japanese.
  • COLA

 

  1. Note: reading/writing in Japanese is a plus but not essential to native level as documentation in English.
  2. This role may suit a lawyer working in the London/ ANZ markets looking to return to or work in Tokyo.
  3. PQE level is only a guide and strong candidates outside these parameters will also be considered
