- A great opportunity for a lawyer interested in moving into a business role, our client is looking for a candidate with strong business acumen to fill a regional business role covering Asia, which is based in Hong Kong.
- The successful candidate will manage a number of IP licensing companies in Asia, ensuring implementation of global policies from London HQ and working with those companies to achieve growth objectives and financial targets.
- Responsible for monitoring, reveiwing, analysing and benchmarking company performance against similar companies in other regions and global industry targets.
- The successful candidate will also be required to assist in advocating for improvements in copyright and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Travel in Asia and some travel outside of Asia required.
Qualification
- Degree from a reputable university
- At least 5 years experience in business development and/or licensing in entertainment or creative industries
- Experience in managing and aggregating sales data with high level of accuracy
- Experience in working across different cultures and nationalities
- English written and spoken fluency required
- Mandarin language skills preferred
