Sidley Austin has hired M&A lawyer Parthiv Rishi as a partner in Singapore from Linklaters, where he spent more than 15 years, and most recently led that firm’s private equity practice in Southeast Asia.

Rishi advises corporates and financial institutions on corporate transactions, including M&A, joint ventures and corporate restructurings. He represents private equity funds and financial sponsors, as well as their portfolio companies and also advises on renewables and infrastructure M&A. For example, in 2018, he advised Indian renewable energy company Greenko Group on its acquisition of Orange Renewable Holding from the Singapore-based AT Capital Group

With Rishi’s addition, Sidley now has 10 partners in its Singapore office.
