Mumbai-based law firm Stratage Law Partners opened a Bengaluru outpost with the addition of transactions partner Anisha Shroff from Samvad Partners.

The opening of a Bengaluru office will better serve the firm’s clients in Southern India, the firm said in a statement.

Shroff specialises in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital deals in the technology, healthcare and manufacturing sectors.

She joined Samvad in 2015 and had been a partner at the Bengaluru-headquartered corporate firm since 2020.

Prior to Samvad, Shroff worked with Dua Associates and Hariani & Co in Mumbai.  She started her career working in-house with Indian technology company Sasken Communication Technologies in 2007.

Founded in Mumbai in 2020 with four partners, Stratage Law now has seven partners, with Shroff being the first outside Mumbai.
