Clyde & Co has made two construction disputes hires from Pinsent Masons MPillay in Singapore: Jon Howes, joint head of office at the latter firm, joins as co-leader of the APAC infrastructure practice; and Sean Hardy comes on board as a construction partner at Clyde & Co Clasis.

Their appointments come after Clyde lost three senior disputes lawyers to RPC last month, including partner Gerald Yee.

Howes, who spent 22 years at Pinsent Masons, focuses on dispute resolution in the construction, engineering and energy sectors. He specialises in domestic and international arbitrations, mediation, adjudication and expert determination.

Hardy, who was a senior associate at Pinsent Masons, is an arbitration specialist with a focus on the infrastructure, construction and energy sectors. He previously spent more than six years at Mayer Brown.
