Baker McKenzie has appointed leveraged finance specialist Kenneth Ching as a partner in Hong Kong from Shearman & Sterling, where he was a counsel.

Ching advises on financing transactions including take-privates, distressed debt, domestic and cross-border acquisition financings.

Prior to joining Shearman, Ching worked with Magic Circle firm Allen & Overy for more than seven years.

With Ching’s hire, Baker McKenzie’s Hong Kong office now has 37 partners.
