Morrison & Foerster has added Chen Zhu as a partner in its investigations and white collar defence  practice in Hong Kong from Davis Polk & Wardwell, where he was a counsel.

Zhu, who was at Davis Polk for nearly a decade, acts for banking, healthcare, technology, entertainment, insurance and hospitality clients in anti-corruption, securities fraud, and compliance matters.  He also specialises in  cross-border government enforcement and internal investigations involving U.S. economic sanctions.

Having started his career with Paul Hastings in New York, Zhu joined Davis Polk in January 2011 and moved to Hong Kong shortly after. His arrival takes the number of partners at Morrison & Foerster’s Hong Kong office to 13.
