Stephenson Harwood has welcomed back shipping expert Jason Toms as counsel in Hong Kong from Reed Smith, where he was a partner.

Toms, who has spent more than 25 years in the legal industry, advises clients on all aspects of commercial and maritime litigation, including charter party, bill of lading and cargo disputes, director misfeasance and fraud claims, and shareholder disputes and company winding-up proceedings.

Toms initially spent a decade at Stephenson Harwood before leaving as a partner in November 2012 to join Reed Smith.
