Capital markets specialist Mengyu Lu has left Sidley Austin to rejoin Kirkland & Ellis as a partner in Hong Kong.

Lu’s practice focuses on Hong Kong IPOs, M&A and post-listing compliance matters. She first joined Kirkland in 2011 from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, before moving to Sidley in September 2015.

Lu is Kirkland’s first partner hire in Hong Kong since the firm added Manas Chandrashekar from Latham & Watkins in July.
