Hong Kong law firm Oldham, Li & Nie (OLN) has welcomed back litigation lawyer Stephen Chan as a partner in its dispute resolution practice. Chan had moved from OLN to Gall last year.

Chan, who first joined OLN in 2013, specialises in handling commercial dispute resolution cases and contentious employment matters. He also acts for multinational corporations in Hong Kong-based litigation and international arbitration matters. 

Other firms that Chan has worked for include McVeagh Fleming and Queen City Law in New Zealand.

On Aug. 11, the Standing Committee of China’s National People’s Congress (NPC) passed a decision to implement pilot measures that will allow Hong Kong lawyers to practice in nine cities in the Greater Bay Area.
