Indonesian law firm Sarvasūkṣma has hired Rika Rusman as a corporate and M&A partner from Witara Cakra Advocates (WCA), White & Case's local association firm.

The hire of Rusman, who has 15 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions across sectors, including banking, infrastructure, and technology, is set to strengthen Sarvasūkṣma’s transactional services capabilities amid growing demand in Southeast Asia's largest economy.

Rusman joined WCA in 2019 from Ginting & Reksodiputro, A&O Shearman’s Indonesia association firm, where she spent more than eight years. She previously worked at HHP Law Firm, the local member firm of Baker McKenzie. In 2022, she was named as one of the ALB Indonesia Rising Stars.

At Sarvasūkṣma, she will work closely with banking and finance partner Yoshivan Immanuel.

“Rika’s addition expands Sarvasūkṣma’s capabilities in providing domestic and international clients with high-quality corporate transactional services,” the firm said in a statement. “Sarvasūkṣma clients will benefit from the level of experience that she brings coupled with the hands-on approach and value-driven proposition that Sarvasūkṣma is committed to provide.”

Founded in 2021, Sarvasūkṣma has two partners.
