Japanese law firm Anderson Mori & Tomotsune (AMT) has added four senior foreign counsel to its partnership, shortly after the launch of its foreign joint law enterprise.

Len Matsunaga is qualified in the U.S., while Vassili Moussis and Teruma Naito are qualified in the UK and Tu Jinning in China.

Additionally, arbitration lawyer David MacArthur recently joined AMT as a senior foreign counsel from Korea’s Bae Kim & Lee (BKL).

In  an interview with ALB, AMT partner Atsutoshi Maeda spoke about the firm’s efforts to hire more skilled and experienced non-Japanese lawyers at all levels

AMT was the third-largest law firm in Japan in the 2020 ALB Top 50 rankings, and the 47th-largest domestic law firm in the Asian region.
