U.S. boutique litigation firm Kobre & Kim has strengthened its Hong Kong office with the hire of dispute resolution partner Randall Arthur from Gall.

Arthur focuses on corporate and commercial disputes work, and advises clients on cross-border insolvency disputes, international judgment enforcement and fraud and asset tracing matters.

In addition to Arthur, disputes lawyer Gabrielle Liu has joined Kobre & Kim’s Hong Kong office as an associate. Previously at Mayer Brown JSM, Liu will focus on debtor-creditor disputes and government enforcement defense matters.

“We are thrilled to have Randall and Gabrielle on board, especially as we see growing needs in Asian markets for specialist disputes counsel,” said William McGovern, resident partner in Kobre & Kim’s Hong Kong office, in a statement.

McGovern added that the firm will announce further expansions of its China-focused, native Mandarin speaking team in the next month.
