Philippine law firm Ocampo & Suralvo Law Offices has hired litigator Anthony RV Jacoba as partner and head of its dispute resolution and insolvency practice group.

With over 14 years of experience, Jacoba joins the firm from his private practice, where he had been operating since April 2020. Previously, he spent more than six years at SyCip Salazar Hernandez & Gatmaitan, one of the Philippines' top law firms, rising to the position of senior associate. Jacoba has also worked at ACCRA Law Offices and Caguioa and Gatmaytan.

The new partner brings expertise in court litigation, regulatory investigations, commercial arbitration, and cross-border insolvency. His experience spans various sectors including financial services, real estate, infrastructure, energy, and technology.

“With the expansion of the firm’s capabilities in these key areas, new and current clients can expect our strengthened expertise to result in high-value, integrated services,” the firm said in a statement.

Ocampo & Suralvo now has six partners. It collaborates with Southeast Asian law firm DFDL to service clients regionally.
