Singapore Big Four law firm Drew & Napier is set to welcome back litigation and arbitration specialist Siraj Omar SC. Omar will join Drew along with a team of eight lawyers from UK firm RPC’s local joint venture in Singapore on July 1.

Omar is currently a partner and the head of disputes at RPC Premier Law. His practice focuses on banking and financial disputes, commercial & corporate litigation and insolvency and restructuring-related matters. He also regularly counsels on international arbitrations, both as counsel as well as arbitrator.

Omar spent the first four years of his career in the litigation department of Drew & Napier under Davinder Singh SC, who recently left the firm to start his own practice. After working with DLA Piper in Indonesia, he moved to Singapore firm Tan Kok Quan Partnership, where he eventually became senior partner. Omar left TKQP in December 2007 to co-found Premier Law, and eventually entered into a joint law venture with RPC in May 2016. Omar became a senior counsel in January this year.
