Simmons & Simmons has hired financial markets expert Sonia Lim as a partner in Singapore from Linklaters, where she was a counsel.

Lim, who has 25 years of experience, focuses on regulatory reforms with an emphasis on legal and regulatory issues relating to OTC derivatives and other financial markets products and services.

Prior to joining Linklaters in 2017, Lim worked in-house with JP Morgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, and Citi, as well as with law firm Allen & Overy.
