Ajay Raghavan, the Bengaluru-based head of Trilegal’s employment practice, is set to leave the firm in April to establish a non-profit organisation focused on climate change.

In addition to his employment work, Raghavan had recently been focused on building a climate change practice at Trilegal that sought sustainable alternatives to existing structures in India. He eventually decided to make the leap and launch his own non-profit.

“Ajay has played an integral part in setting up the pre-eminent employment practice in the country. While we will miss Ajays presence in the firm, we recognise the importance of the work he has chosen to do and look forward to supporting the work he undertakes in this important area,” said Trilegal partner Rahul Matthan.
