Zhong Lun Law Firm has recruited corporate specialist Alan Xu as a partner at its Hong Kong office from Simmons & Simmons. 

Admitted to practice law in China and New York, Xu advises clients on cross-border M&A, joint ventures and other forms of investment. He also had stints at K&L Gates and Clifford Chance in Hong Kong prior to joining Simmons & Simmons.

Chinese auto insurance technology platform Cheche Group has recently completed its merger with the Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) Prime Impact Acquisition I, formerly listed on the New York Stock Exchange. As of Sep.18, the merged entity has become a publicly traded company listed on NASDAQ.
