Singularity Legal, a Mumbai-headquartered firm focused on dispute resolution, is opening a new office in the UAE.

Founded by Prateek Bagaria in 2017, the firm advises on construction disputes, alternate dispute resolution, contract administration, and management of claims arising during a project. It recently received a license to practice before the courts at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).

With the new office, the firm hopes to take its legal services and international dispute resolution expertise to the Middle East. According to a release, Singularity Legal said it had handled claims amounting to more than $8 billion in cross-border disputes in various sectors, including energy and resources, construction and infrastructure, shipping and maritime, sports and entertainment, international trade and business, and private equity and finance.
