Our client is a law firm that is part of a global network specializing in international tax and international trade law. 

We are looking for a business development manager to lead our client's business development and marketing function. Specific responsibilities include:

• Working with business development leaders at the regional, global levels and fellow marketing/business development professionals across the network in pulling together regional and global collaterals and in organizing business development events.
• Researching existing and prospective clients and market trends and opportunities.
• Maintaining deal databases for precedent, marketing, and business development purposes.
• Updating print and digital marketing materials and assisting with the development of content for proposals, presentations and pitch materials.
• Maintaining mailing lists for marketing and business development purposes.
• Coordinating with key professional services firm directories and their researchers in scheduling and preparing submissions for league tables, legal directories, awards and industry guides.
• Assisting in general office administration. 

The successful candidate should have:

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a professional services firm.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Good organizational and project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
• Experience with legal-research / legal-news databases and resources.
