Ashurst has entered into a formal law alliance (FLA) in Singapore with local outfit ADTLaw, formerly known as ADTvance Law.

Going forward, the FLA, which has been approved by the Legal Services Regulatory Authority of Singapore, will operate as Ashurst ADTLaw.

Founded in 2013 by former Rajah & Tann Singapore partner Dawn Tan, ADTLaw specialises in complex arbitration and civil litigation, corporate and M&A transactions, as well as banking and finance, including derivatives and structured products.

Entering into this alliance demonstrates our continuing commitment to and investment in Singapore and is an important step in broadening our existing client offering and driving forward our success in the market,” said Paul Jenkins, Ashurst’s managing partner, in a statement.

Ashurst ADTLaw is the latest in a string of tie-ups involving Singapore firms. Last August, UK–based Osborne Clarke established an FLA with local firm OC Queen Street. In February, recently merged Gowling WLG inked an exclusive association with JurisAsia, a boutique firm that focuses on intellectual property.
