Devandran Karunakaran, a former managing partner of Ince in Singapore, was fired by the firm after a court found him found guilty of molesting three women in a bar in the city-state last year.

Karunakaran, who specialises in shipping finance was fined S$15,000 ($11,000) by the court under the Protection from Harassment Act. In a statement, an Ince spokesperson said that Karunakaran's position at the firm had been "terminated with immediate effect" following the court's decision. "We take the behaviour and ethical conduct of all of the group’s partners and staff extremely seriously," the firm added.

According to the website Today Online, Karunakaran molested three women at a bar while in an intoxicated state. When he was asked by the bar manager to leave, Karunakaran allegedly hurled vulgarities at him.
