PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal has opened an office in Singapore, its first in the Asia-Pacific region, with the hires of partners Natalie Breen and Keith McGuire from Norton Rose Fulbright and Ashurst, respectively. The new office will focus on cross-border regional transactions and projects. 

Breen led the cross-border real estate capability at her previous firm, while McGuire is an M&A and JV specialist. Also, PwC’s Global Legal Services leader Leon Flavell, who moved to Singapore in March this year. 

To complement the foreign law capabilities offered by its Singapore office, PwC will also continue to work with Camford Law – an independent local law firm within the PwC network - and other local Singapore law firms.

A recent report in the Straits Times said that Deloitte was also considering launching its own law firm in Singapore.
